What Aussies in Argentina collects, why, who processes it and how to ask for your data to be corrected or deleted.

Who runs this site

Aussies in Argentina is an independent guide operated by Liberty Design Studio. Privacy questions go to hello@aussiesinargentina.com.

What you send us

If you use the feedback or contact form, we receive your message and, only if you type it, your email address. If you ask about advertising, we receive the business details you enter (name, email, company, website and message). Forms are protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. We use what you send only to reply to you.

Analytics

We count page views and clicks in aggregate to see which guides help people. Google Analytics 4 only runs if you press Accept on the notice; if you press Reject it stays off. Sponsored placements are chosen without cookies and without building a profile of you.

Who processes data for us

  • Liberty Design Studio, which operates the site and answers form messages.
  • Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the site, protects the forms and delivers the pages.
  • Google LLC, which provides Google Analytics 4, only if you accept analytics.

We do not sell personal information.

Lucero Legal and sponsored links

When a question needs a lawyer, the site recommends Lucero Legal, a Buenos Aires law firm, including through the Legal help button. Some pages also carry sponsored placements, and property guides link to PlataPlace. Links to Lucero Legal, PlataPlace and advertisers carry parameters that identify this site as the source, and we count clicks on them. Anything you send to those websites is handled under their own privacy policies; we do not receive it.

How long we keep it

Form messages are kept while we deal with your enquiry and for no more than 24 months. Analytics is kept in summary form. Google Analytics cookies expire after 14 months at most.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what you have sent us by writing to hello@aussiesinargentina.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are in Australia and unhappy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
