About Aussies in Argentina

The guides cover the things Australians actually deal with here: the work and holiday visa, finding a flat in Buenos Aires, paying for things when the exchange rate moves, where to watch the Wallabies, and how to explain Vegemite to an Argentine.

Who runs it

The site is published by Liberty Design Studio. It is not connected to the Australian or Argentine governments, and nobody pays to appear in a guide.

How the guides are checked

Rules come from the official source: Argentina's immigration office, Home Affairs, the ATO, Smartraveller and the embassies. Prices come from shops, operators and listings, with the month they were checked. Every guide shows the date it was last updated and lists its sources at the end.

Argentina changes fees and rules often, so treat any figure as a starting point and confirm it before you pay or sign anything.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, use the feedback link at the bottom of any page or email hello@aussiesinargentina.com. Corrections are made on the page and the date is updated.
